Osaka

Osaka is Japan's second largest city. It is a major industrial centre and is known
as Japan's most 'down-to-earth city'. It is a vibrant city and is increasingly
cosmopolitan. It was bombed heavily in World War 2 and is now a sprawling
endless expanse of buildings and elevated highways.



Osaka Castle Osaka Castle is not an original building. It was built in 1931 as a reproduction of the original building which dated from 1583. In 1997 a major Renovation was completed.

This famous scene will be recognised by many people everywhere.
For people who are used to seeing such scenes in English it makes
interesting reading .I wonder if the prices are the same as in the U.K.
