for paired work.

the claim of a million hours sleep is/is not
likely.

Children will need thinking and
planning time, they will also need to
gather extra information, like number of
hours in a day.

Plenary:

The children need to justify their
answers and check if their answers are
reasonable.

Share solutions, and methods used.

Relate their findings back to original vote.

Explore other statements like I've   spent more time at school than at home in the last year.
Look for exaggerated claims in newspapers and work out if they are likely.
