In June 2001 members of an environmental charity called Groundwork Black Country and Sandwell Council came into Year 8 assemblies and displayed some of the ideas that we could use on the Marl Hole Park Area.
They came into our assemblies to speak to us in detail about the Project. They also gave us history lessons on what the Marl Hole used to be like over 100 years ago. The Marl Hole was a huge hole in the ground where people dumped rubbish. Due to size of the area and the nature of the ground there were only limited choices of what could actually be constructed. |

There were 3 presentations about aspects of the project.
Recently a new play area for primary aged children was built. |
