Combined Heat and Power Unit.
Gas is burned in an engine, which produces heat and electricity. The heat is used to heat water for the under floor heating and the electricity for the building is mainly produced on site.
* This unit provides the bulk of heat and electricity needed by the building.
* There are no radiators as the heating is under the floor, this avoids possible burning accidents.
*There are no central heating boilers in each flat.
