Nominated purchasing point for schools

We act as the purchasing point for schools for ICT equipment, software & software licences and ICT services (on-line) in particular through SMBC’s tendered contracts (this simplifies the procurement process for schools and ensures compliance with financial regulations). Schools otherwise must ensure compliance with local and EU financial regulations whenever they choose not to purchase via this route.

We liaise with SMBC’s Risk Management service on matters relating to security advice and insurance replacements.
